Wonderful work that has deserved to be awarded in the 6th festival of Beijing, China in 2010. Its design is very particular because it consists of three elements; the first is the use of ancestral symbology to build a contemporary aesthetic language, the second, that this language expresses universal emotions and feelings, such as the ambition to transcendence that any human being aspires in the intimate desires to conquer new spaces, new experiences and new emotions, in that sense, we can appreciate almost abstractly, a boat loaded with symbolisms of the Andean epistemology as the rhombus, symbol of the ancestral cosmogony, symbol of the Andean cosmogony, symbol of the ancestral cosmogony that shows us the duality of life, with its two horizontal angles of equal measure but of substantial difference for its position in space and two vertical angles also of equal measure but of substantial difference for its spatial location, in whose center, this rhombus contains a primordial circle that represents the space where the vital energy of things resides. The exuberant range of warm colors and diverse textures constructed by various weaving techniques, give the tapestry a sense of energetic vibration and movement that makes it a unique and singular piece of the Laura style.
